• UGMA celebrates India Festival, Kerala Piravi [+ Enlarge Picture] GERMANY -- Union of German Malayalee Association (UGMA) celebrated India Festival and Kerala Piravi celebrations (50th Anniversary of the formation of Kerala state) on Saturday November 25 at the Albert Einstein Secondary School auditorium with various cultural programmes. The festival was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Malayala Manorma Editorial director and Kerala Press Academy chairman Thomas Jacob and Bonn Business community president Dr Hans Peter Mark. Malayalam film actress Nithya Das, singer Jassi Gift and other mimicry artistes from Kerala added glitz and glamour to the whole show.
